Health and Safety Fair this Saturday in McKinley Park
Beltzhoover Neighborhood Council will present a Health and Safety Fair on Saturday, May 17, beginning at 1 p.m. at the McKinley Park Shelter House.
This is neighborhood residents' opportunity to meet and ask questions of: Pittsburgh Police Chief Nate Harper; Zone 3 Police Commander Larry Ross; and, Chief Darryl Jones, Bureau of Fire, who will speak on the fire fighter recruitment process.
In addition, children are encouraged to bring their bicycles and parents their car seats for safety checks. There will also be a table for children's identification.
The Hilltop Community Health Center will be providing health screenings and the there will be information from the AIDS Task Force and about HIV awareness.
Music will be provided by DJ-E, there will be games, food and more. The Health and Safety Fair is open to all.
