Career exploration will be next topic for A+ Schools

A+ Schools next community meeting for “Excel.9-12: Plan for High School Excellence” will deal with Career Exploration.

Research shows that parents are the main source of career information for youth. This meeting will allow parents and students to explore career opportunities and understand what skills, knowledge and education are required for the careers of tomorrow.

This event is part of “Imagine! Career Week” sponsored by the Three Rivers Workforce Investment Board and will be Tuesday, April 22 from 5:30-8 p.m. on the 31st floor of the Regional Enterprise Tower, 425 Sixth Avenue, Downtown.

Dinner and childcare (for children over 1) will be provided to registrants. A+ Schools will validate parking tickets for the Mellon Square Garage. To register call 412-258-2660 ext. 101 or www.aplusschools.org.
