City of Pittsburgh Public Safety Director Michael Huss along with Zone Commander Larry Ross will be the featured speakers at the next open meeting of the Arlington Civic Council on Monday, April 7 at 7 p.m.
“The director was asked if he could return in the spring to discuss police response times, police coverage and a multitude of issues related to safety,” said Teri Cataldo, president of the Arlington Civic Council. “We look forward to continued cooperation from the zone police and help to develop a closer relationship with the zone commander.”
The ACC will also unveil its newly developed 311 Response Log for use by neighborhood groups at the April 7 general membership meeting.
The promotion committee, headed by Michele Balcer, devised the simple log that asks that each issue is documented that is reported to 311. The log has a designated place for the issue, the date reported and the reference number given at the time of the call.
The ACC has asked their membership to provide the listed information if they would like City Liaison John Dixon to check on the reported issues. Anyone who would like to have a 311 Response Log can pick one up at meeting.
Refreshments will be served and all are welcome to attend.
