SSSNA will hear about 18th Street streescape

The next meeting of the South Side Slopes Neighborhood Association will be at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, in the main lounge of St Paul's retreat center, 148 Monastery Ave.

Klavon Design Associates, a landscape architecture firm, will make a presentation on the design process aimed at improving the streetscape of the 18th street corridor.  In addition, Duquesne students will be presenting a mapping/signage project that they will be undertaking in the South Side Park.

The SSSNA has scheduled its first Slopes Cleanup of 2008 for March 29 from 9-12.  Volunteers will meet at 9 a.m. in the Veronica's Veil Parking Lot - 66 Pius Street.
