Public asked to participate in polling of math materials
Teachers, staff, administrators, parents and community members are invited to participate in a Public Polling of Math Program Materials.
Attendees are welcome to review and evaluate elementary and middle grades math program materials and complete a criterion-based evaluation form on the resources displayed. Completed evaluations will be submitted to the elementary and middle grade math committees for their consideration as they make important instructional decisions regarding student math materials.
During the week of February 11–15, the instructional programs and resources will be on display at the following two locations:
• Pittsburgh Public Schools Administration Building, 341 South Bellefield Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, Bellefield Balcony, Monday – Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Pittsburgh Reizenstein, Professional Development Center, 129 Denniston Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15206, Room 266 – PreK-5 Math Materials, Room 267 – 6-8 Math Materials, Monday – Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 9 p.m ., Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Math program evaluation forms will be visible at the entrance of the polling room. Attendees should review and evaluate all available math materials on display. Completed program evaluations should be submitted in the polling box prior to leaving the polling room.
