Arthritis exercise program will be meet on the Hilltop

Those who have symptoms of arthritis pain and stiffness and/or have problems with any of the many forms of arthritis, are eligible to attend the Arthritis Exercise Program offered by The Hilltop Health Ministries Consortium Parish Nurse Program.

These exercises are approved and recommended by the Arthritis Foundation, and involve education, relaxation, increasing flexibility, endurance and strength. The next course will begin on Tuesday Jan. 15.

The classes meet on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. and Thursday afternoons at 1 p.m. and last for 1-1 ½ hours. Participants may attend either or both, whichever suites their needs. There is no charge for the class.

Trinity Lutheran Church, 601 Brownsville Rd in Mt. Oliver will again be the site. It is recommended that participants receive approval from their physician before beginning the classes.
