Adriana Gulli, a Pittsburgh Phillips fourth grader, recently placed fourth in form and weapons at the American Taekwondo Association Nationals in Orlando, Florida. Adriana, a second degree black belt, is the daughter of Cathy and Umberto Gulli. She started Karate when she was just four years old at Mike Caruso's ATA Black Belt Academy in Murrysville. She is a part of the Academy's Leaders Program, helping to instruct in the lower ranks. She has participated in many tournaments, including World Championships.
