The Elder Outreach Volunteer Program, part of Hilltop Health Ministries Consortium, is recruiting volunteers to join a group (many are senior citizens, themselves) who help elder residents to live independently in their homes.

A friendly phone call or visit, a trip to the doctor or grocery store, help with a light chore from time-to-time, or praying with someone can make all the difference in the world.

This volunteer experience can fit into a currently busy schedule. If you are going to the store, you can take your elder neighbor along. You may already be helping an older person out in some way.
