Service planned for Arch Herron in South Side

Arch Herron, who worked for many years at Armstrong Park in South Side, passed away last year. To commemorate his positive influence on hundreds of children during his lifetime, there will be a dedication service at Armstrong Park on Sunday, July 29 at 10 a.m. to unveil a memorial marker and tree.

A portrait will be displayed in the Market House in recognition of Mr. Herron's commitment and years of service to the community. All who knew Mr. Herron are welcome to attend the dedication.
