Arlington Community Day slated for Saturday, Aug. 4

The Arlington Civic Council will host a Pre-National Night Out/ Community Day and Flea Market on Saturday, Aug. 4, from 1-4 p.m.

Members are encouraged to reserve space if they would like to sell their items at the flea market (must bring own chairs and table). Call Roxanne at 412-431-3055 to reserve.

Free activities include: Bounce House, balloon art, magic show, Storytime, Passport to Reading Program Kick-Off and assorted informational booths.

Children's games, member bingo, bake sale, Candy Shoppe, Chinese auction and refreshments will be available for a nominal fee.

“I have special memories of our past community festivals and look forward to the revival of this one day neighborhood celebration” said Teri Cataldo, Arlington Civic Council President.

Ms. Cataldo added that organizations, agencies, foundations, schools and governmental entities are welcome to put up a display or work a table at the event to promote their services. Those interested in setting up a table should call 412-860-4422.
