Pennsylvania Resources Council invites residents to learn about a free supply of fresh, clean water by attending their Rain Barrel/Watershed Workshop at the CCI Center, South Side on Wednesday, April 11 from 6:30-8 p.m.

At the workshop participants will learn how to harvest rainwater from their roof, store it and use it in lawns and gardens. PRC's Watershed Awareness/Rain Barrel Workshop will raise awareness of watershed issues, demonstrate how to assemble and install a retrofitted 55-gallon drum/rain barrel, and offer other rainwater harvesting options.

Participants will receive the necessary hardware to assemble and install a rain barrel for rainwater harvesting and on-site usage. Someone will win the rain barrel used in the workshop. Call 412-431-4449 x247 or visit www.prc.org for more information.
