55 Alive driver course at Brentwood Library

Brentwood Library is offering the 55 Alive/Mature Driver Safety Course. This driver improvement program is designed especially for older drivers to help improve driving skills and prevent traffic accidents.

The eight-hour classroom refresher will be offered over two days, Wednesday and Thursday, March 28 and 29, both days from 1-5 p.m. The tuition is $10 and advanced registration is required. Class size is limited to 30 people. Registrations will be taken at the library, 3501 Brownsville Road; make check or money order payable to AARP.

No written or practical driving tests are required. The course is open to any licensed driver but course graduates 55 and older may be eligible for multi-year auto insurance discounts (check with insurance carrier).
