Goodwill moves Computer Works down the street

Goodwill Industries of Pittsburgh held a grand re-opening celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony at its not-for-profit used computer store, Computer Works of South Side, last week.

Computer Works of South Side moved just one block to 2600 East Carson Street on South Side, which is also the location of Goodwill's headquarters facility.

The newly renovated store still will offer gently used, low cost rebuilt computer systems, many of which were donated and remanufactured by qualified technicians. Also available on the expanded sales floor will be an increased inventory of both common and hard-to-find computer parts, software, and related peripherals.

The store offers limited warranties. Revenues generated from such businesses support Goodwill's mission of helping people to improve their quality of life through work and related services.
