Public hearing on proposed legislation to limit bars in city
The Pittsburgh Planning Commission has scheduled a public hearing on a change in zoning that would prohibit a bar from opening within 150 feet of any more than two existing bars in local neighborhood commercial districts.
The change would also differentiate between a restaurant and a restaurant with a liquor license.
The City Planning Commission meeting will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 23 beginning at 2:00 p.m. on the first floor of the Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street in downtown Pittsburgh. Planning Commission meetings are open to the public.
