Family fun activities begin at the Carrick Library

Get ready for fall at the Carrick Library and help develop your child's early literacy skills through stories, songs and activities at the weekly Storytime for children ages 2-5 on Thursdays at 11:15 a.m.

Duquesne Light volunteers will be at the library for “Duquesne Light Reads for the Fun of It” on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. Children of all ages can enjoy fall stories, make a craft project and receive a gift bag.

Elementary school students can receive help with homework from middle and high school students every Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. Register today, it's required and spots fill soon.

After School Artful Stories are Wednesdays, Oct. 4-25 from 3-4 p.m. Each week will explore a different artist, with a story about the artist and an art project. This program is for students in grades K-5.

The After School Book Club will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 3 p.m. for students in grades 3-5.
