The 8th Annual Greater Pittsburgh Arts & Crafts Holiday Spectacular is returning to the former Montgomery Ward building in Charleroi (near Belle Vernon) on November 18, 19 and 20. Shopping hours are Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This year shoppers can explore over 220 booth spaces on one floor filled with America's top artists and craftspeople from 14 states, many dressed in holiday attire. There will be an abundance of original and one-of-a-kind work including jewelry, tole painting, collectible folk art, quilted fabrics, dried floral arrangements, leather goods, children's dolls, candles, stained glass and more.
With Christmas just around the corner, this is the place to shop for fine gifts, home decorating and holiday ideas. Guests will be able to make unlimited trips to their vehicles with their merchandise by simply obtaining a hand stamp at the door.
For added convenience, foods can be enjoyed throughout the festival at the eat-in food court, and entertainment includes Santa and Clowns Glitter-Dot & Dapper doing face painting and balloon animals.
The former Montgomery Ward building is just one mile off of Interstate 70 near Belle Vernon/Charleroi. Parking is free in the building's lot and at all downtown Charleroi parking meters. Admission is $5 for adults, $4.50 for seniors, $1 for children 6-12, children under 6 free. Call 724-863-4577 for more information.
