The Arlington Civic Council and Block Watch will hold their first meetings of the new year on Monday, Jan. 3 at the Henry Kaufmann Center, corner of Fernleaf and Salisbury streets.

The Arlington Block Watch will meet beginning at 6:15 p.m., the civic council meeting will begin immediately following. Council officials expect a guest speaker from the city's 911 call center to attend.

All interested area residents are welcome to attend either or both of the meetings.
