Red and Mary Lou Stadelman
Roland “Red” and Mary Lou Stadelman of Arlington renewed their marriage vows during their 50th wedding anniversary on June 19 at the St. Henry Church. Red and Mary Lou were married at St. Adalbert Church in the South Side on June 19, 1954.
They are the parents of seven children. This includes six daughters: Diana Assad, Rose McClelland, Marge Vavrek, Cathy Hennessey, Sue McIntyre and Chris Najdzinski, and one son, Dave Stadelman. Everyone from the immediate family lives in the Pittsburgh area. Red and Mary Lou have been active members of the St. John Vianney church choir for many years and the St. Henry Lyceum.
Mr. and Mrs. Stadelman are the grandparents of 25 grand-children (15 girls and 10 boys) and three great grandchildren (two boys and a girl). A large reception for family and friends was held at the St. Henry social hall immediately following a Mass to renew their vows.
