Rick Bach, center on ladder, works on his design for the mural on 18th Street. Bach, a multigenerational South Sider chose a design that incorporates past and present elements of the neighborhood. Assisting with the mural are Marci Gehring and Lara Lampenfield. The mural was a project of the South Side Local Development Company and The South Side Slopes Neighborhood Association and funded through a grant from State Representative Michael Diven.
